This ring is one of a kind. I source my Aurora Opals in small batches, allowing each ring to be designed around the individual beauty of its stone. Once these opals are gone, they won't be repeated in exactly the same way.
Handmade
The ring is handmade in recycled sterling silver.
GEMSTONE & Technique
The lab-grown Aurora Opal is freeform in shape and approximately 9x5 mm. The ring is hand-fabricated from sterling silver wire and sheet.
FINER DETAILS
The ring band is a round profile and approximately 1.5mm. It is finished with a high shine polish.

The nebula ring
Echoing the deep expanse of a starry night, this is one of the most dramatic rings in this debut release. It features a freeform opal that holds an intense play-of-colour, flashing with brilliant hot pinks, deep emerald greens and gold against its dark, moody purple background.
I created the silver bezel to follow the freeform shape of this gemstone, allowing its natural beauty to take centre stage. Set against bright, mirror-polished sterling silver, the rich colours of the stone come to life, creating a piece that feels both grounded and completely unique.

JEWELLERY CARE
Natural Opals are porous and can lose some lustre when wet (once they have dried, the lustre returns), therefore, it is best to clean the chain and carefully around the setting with a damp cloth, dry thoroughly and then buff them to shine using an impregnated polishing cloth suitable for the metal type.
Jewellery should be the first thing you take off (when changing, showering or swimming) and the last thing you put on (after dressing, perfumes and lotions)
