Bespoke 3 Birthstone Ring - Created for a Client

A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY GIFT
I met the lovely D&C at one of my markets. C's birthday was coming up, and she wanted a special ring featuring the family's birthstones. She had a look at my designs and picked out the style she would like. We measured her chosen finger, and I set to work designing some options for her to choose from.
The birthstones were Moonstone (June), Tourmaline (October), and Ruby (July).
C chose 2.5mm facet-cut gemstones and a 2mm ring band
The process
I fabricated the ring using recycled sterling silver. I formed the ring band to size, then carefully measured out the settings placement across the top of the ring. Before cutting and soldering in the settings. Then I worked through the polishing stages before moving on to cutting the seats for the gemstones and then setting each one. Every stage is done with care and precision.
It is an absolute joy to create such meaningful pieces. Knowing they will be loved and treasured for years to come. Here is what D&C said after receiving the ring:
