Black Onyx Necklace
Throughout history, Onyx has been used in jewellery and other decorative objects. Black Onyx has long been associated with being a protective stone, warding off negative energies, and today is still a popular choice.
I created this beautiful silver necklace to cradle a lovely Onyx cabochon; the sterling silver granulation detailing just brings a touch of interest to the design. You could wear this piece on its own or layer it with your favourite necklaces from your collection.
Either way, it is a beautiful piece to own and one that is so versatile to wear too.

JEWELLERY CARE
Natural Opals are porous and can lose some lustre when wet (once they have dried, the lustre returns), therefore, it is best to clean the chain and carefully around the setting with a damp cloth, dry thoroughly and then buff them to shine using an impregnated polishing cloth suitable for the metal type.
Jewellery should be the first thing you take off (when changing, showering or swimming) and the last thing you put on (after dressing, perfumes and lotions)
